Minn Kota Trolling Motor Lower Unit Brush Kit

When looking for a trolling motor lower unit brush kit for your Minn Kota trolling motor, you'll find that the kit offered here is nearly universal in its application as it fits most Minn Kota motors with a 3-1/4" diameter lower unit. This includes more than 60 different models of motors, including most of the more popular ones.

When the O-rings start to fail, allowing water to enter the lower end, it will normally have a detrimental effect on the inside parts, especially brushes, which will slowly start to disintegrate. A Minn Kota brush kit, also referred to as a Minn Kota lower unit brush kit, is a quick, easy, affordable fix. The kit includes everything you need for a rebuild, including two new brush assemblies, a brush plate, ball bearing, two springs, screws and a nylatron washer. You'll also receive the needed steel washer, E-ring, brush holder and seal kit.

TECH TIPS:

If your motor has a steel ball bearing system this kit will NOT work for your motor unless you plan on reusing the bearing.
There are 2 different sizes of the larger "O" rings. Pay close attention as to where they belong when you are taking apart your motor.
Use a small pulley puller to remove the bearing. Reuse the old bearing to seat the new bearing.
